The following is a post I recently published on Craigslist classifieds section:

Tutoring and writing services for students and adults who wish to improve their English speaking and writing now available. A "Teacher's Assistant" at the distinguished Nativity School in Rancho Santa Fe, I hold a BA in English literature from University of California Los Angeles. Additionally, I have over five years experience tutoring reading, writing, grammar, analysis and comprehension at many different levels. Some of the schools where I have tutored (both privately and professionally) include UCLA, MiraCosta College, and The Nativity School in Rancho Santa Fe.

The following are some of the items with which I typically assist:

  • English grammar

  • English literature

  • proofreading

  • poetry and prose analysis

  • writing (both creative and technical)

  • editing

  • essays

  • comprehension and analysis

If there is something you need specifically, contact me and we can discuss how I can help. I am accommodating and very often willing to work with you to achieve your desired goal(s) in a professional manner.

I work with many students one on one and also over the phone. It is not necessary to meet in person in order to benefit from my services. I am more than happy to edit your essay and/or provide feedback for your writing via email if this is what you prefer. Just let me know and I will do my best to offer a solution.

My rates vary depending on the type of work, education level (i.e. middle school versus university), and the amount of time I spend with my students. Please contact me through Craigslist to get a quote. Please include your grade level, what it is you need help with, and the amount of time you would like to spend (or anticipate spending) on your lessons.

The best way to contact me is by responding to this CL ad or emailing me at dmd1982@gmail.com.

If you have any other questions, feel free to contact me as well.

I look forward to making your life a whole lot easier!
